Your Safety and Health
We take the safety and health of our clients extremely seriously. Our Health and Safety Team are constantly monitoring the hotels and transportation we feature in our brochure. Each hotel undergoes a detailed inspection examining fire exits and fire safety provision, swimming pool safety and kitchen hygiene levels.
All the hotels and cruise ships we use are required to meet a minimum of local health and safety standards. However due to the far-flung places in the world to which we operate, some of these standards may differ from UK standards, which are amongst the highest in the world, whilst others may be even more stringent.
We are actively working with accommodation owners to raise standards within the countries to which we operate working within the guidelines and recommendations of UK health and safety professionals.
Health and Safety Standards
Every country applies its own regulations regarding the standards of health and safety. Often these do not conform to British standards, which are some of the highest in the world. The standard of safety, hygiene and fire precautions can vary from country to country and be different to those expected in the UK.
The authorities in the country concerned may not have the enforcing power or resources to monitor and improve standards. Bearing this in mind, we recommend that you take a few sensible precautions whist on holiday.
Always check where the nearest fire exit is and how to raise the fire alarm. Never enter the swimming pool without checking the water depth first. More comprehensive literature regarding health and safety will be enclosed with your final travel documentation and we strongly urge you to read this carefully prior to your departure and refer to it during your holiday.
