Recently opened in February 2006, the Dar Ghadames Hotel is a short drive from the old part of the town and is situated in its own pleasant gardens. All 64 rooms are spacious, well appointed, have ensuite facilities and either a balcony or terrace. The hotel has an attractive reception and seating area plus a restaurant serving either al a carte or buffet depending on the number of guests in residence. 

Dar Loulema is an intimate riad, tucked down an alley located just off the main square of Essaouira and near the port and ramparts. Originally an 18th century mansion, the décor is Moorish minimalism with something of a colonial feel about it. The riad-style hotel has 7 individually decorated rooms, 2 sitting rooms as well as a Moroccan saloon and a small dining room.
