 | Located east of the Dochu Pass the Amankora Punakha is reached by crossing a suspension bridge over the Mo Chhu (Mother River). The lodge includes a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse built as a residence by Her Majesty the Queen Mother, which now houses the dining room and intimate relaxation areas. There is a courtyard for outdoor dining, a tea pavilion and meditation room, with views on the surrounding rice terraces. The eight suites are identical in design to the Amankora Paro. |
